1976: Luigi Pozzi and his daughter Renata create Tessilidea. The following year Renata meets Angelo Vanzini. Together they start a human and working partnership. Renata dedicates herself to the administrative and commercial area, while Angelo is an expert in weaving and has a precise creative vision. They begin to follow Italian stylists, enter the world of fashion and become known for the quality of Made in Italy. In a very short time they manage to reach a very high level, creating customized items for Byblos, Reporter and Genny. 1985: A weaving factory is purchased in Busto Arsizio to increase production. The weaving is improved thanks to an important work of redevelopment and modernization. The idea of organizing the working method through an internal production chain turns out to be far-sighted and places Tessilidea in a position of advantage over competitors: in this way the company is able to follow all the processing stages and meet the needs of customers, even by means of customized projects. The range of products quickly becomes wide and sought-after. The export grows: first in Europe, Germany and France, and later also in Spain. Subsequently Tessilidea arrives on the US and Japanese markets. 1988: The first year in which Tessilidea starts exhibiting at ModaIn (which will later become Milano Unica). 1992: Tessilidea arrives at Première Vision Paris, one of the most important global events for fashion experts. 2005: The new plant is built in Busto Arsizio where the current production branch is located, while the old headquarter, located in Corso Sempione 35 in Busto Arsizio, hosts the management, administration, commercial division, sample collection, quality control, shipments and warehouses and archives. The decision to invest resources in a new factory is dictated by the desire to focus even more on a quality production of Made in Italy. The space is given to skilled Italian workers and technicians, in line with this precise direction.
